Coronation Street spoilers for next week: First look as Paul is told he needs a feeding tube

Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers show that Paul experiences sadness upon seeing his speech therapist. Is this the beginning of the end for him, learning that he requires a feeding tube and that his speech is getting worse?

Meanwhile, Christina’s appearance surprises Daisy and Jenny. Can they, however, maintain their lies?

1. Paul gets bad news

Paul is driven by Bernie to his speech therapy appointment. She attests to the decline in his capacity to speak and chew solid food. In order to avoid choking, she believes that a feeding tube is necessary.

Paul puts on a brave front for Summer’s family roast supper. He lets Billy know that he’s okay with having his food liquidized.

2. Christina blows Daisy’s secret?

Christina tells Daisy she has nowhere to stay when she gets to the pub. Ryan feels sorry for Daisy even though she makes it apparent that she is not welcome.

Considering that she lent them all that money to purchase the Rovers, he urges she stay and get a drink. Though curious, can Christina be trusted not to reveal the whole plot?

3. Glenda attacked as the Rovers is robbed

After a lively but hectic evening, Glenda, who was left in charge of the tavern, shuts. However, she is in for a horrifying surprise when she arrives to the pub.

There are two masked robbers robbing the till. In addition, they are robbing bottles.

Despite her fear, Glenda complies with their instructions and gets on the ground. Glenda phones the police while the men take off with the loot.

When Jenny gets back home, she puts on a brave face. Jenny demands that she skips work in the morning. However, it’s obvious that things are getting to Glenda because when she comes back to the pub the following day, she begins to relive what happened.

4. Roy raises concerns

Roy realizes he must have been sleepwalking once more when Nina discovers a smoldering pan in the cafe. He gives Nina his word that it won’t occur again. Roy then promises to pay Dee-Dee whatever it takes to have his name cleared.

5. Summer leaves

Todd, Billy, and Paul are ready to say goodbye to Summer. She bids us a tearful farewell before heading out to study in Boston, USA.

6. Cassie and Steve hit it off

Steve and Tracy are seated across from each other during a speed dating event at the Rovers. They’re not impressed, but he’s with Cassie when he moves next. Steve advises they get together again since the two get along well. Will Cassie concur?

7. Sarah finds out the truth?

Sarah talks to Ed about the job he’s doing for Damon and it soon becomes clear Damon has lied to her. Will Damon manage to talk his way out of this one?

8. Adam tries to build bridges

Sarah asks Adam whether they may postpone the selling of the apartment. She is told there’s no rush by Adam. When he subsequently asks if they may rekindle their friendship, Sarah tells him it’s too soon and leaves.

9. Ken pulls!

Steve and Ken are off to the Chariot Square Hotel for cocktail hour. Debbie soon arrives with drinks from a woman at the bar.

When Steve realizes that Elspeth is focusing on Ken rather than him, he gets upset! Will the two, though, click? And what is Steve’s current situation?
