Jacob Young Is Directing His First Movie!

Fans of soap operas are most familiar with Jacob Young from his roles as Rick on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, JR on ALL MY CHILDREN, and Lucky on GENERAL HOSPITAL. However, the actor is now making his feature film directorial debut! The actor posted a photo of himself exploring Prague’s locales for the next movie, Murder Between Friends.

Young cried, “I am so thrilled to be acting, producing, and directing for the first time.” “It’s taken a while, but everything is achievable with perseverance and hard work!”

Dame Joan Collins (Alexandra, GUIDING LIGHT) plays Francesca Carlyle in Murder Between Friends, a film about a great television diva who solves a murder at her rural estate. In addition, Toby Alexander Smith (ex-Gray from the UK serial opera EASTENDERS) and Nadia Bjorlin (ex-Chloe from DAYS OF OUR LIVES) are among the cast members.

Young told Soap Opera Digest, “This is a really cool project. I hired her to play my love interest in the film.” “We’ve reserved the castle where we’re shooting.”

Young has acted in television films since leaving the daytime, including The Road Home for Christmas and Fatal Following. She has also acted in episodes of television shows like THE WALKING DEAD and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES.

The actor has been producing films in recent years (like Four for Fun), and he now intends to give directing a go. We’re confident he’ll be successful there too, so be sure to come back with SoapsInDepth.com for more on Murder Between Friends in the future. We’ll notify you when and where you can watch it!
