Leah Patterson from Home and Away will make a big decision on UK screens next week after nearly endangering her partner Justin Morgan.
As Leah’s mental health difficulties worsen, heartbroken Justin is still reeling from her statement that she no longer wants to marry him.

Leah, anxious about her partner’s intentions, covers and asks Justin if he wants a sandwich. After Justin leaves her and Theo Poulos alone, Leah exposes her actual thoughts to Theo, claiming that they are in danger since Justin works for the cult Vita Nova.
When Theo tries to intervene and calm Leah down, she offers another suggestion: they could contact the police about Justin.
At the station, officer Rose Delaney confronts Theo and informs him that Leah need medical attention. The couple bring in Justin, but as he rushes out to be with Leah, her paranoia kicks in, and she believes Rose has joined the cult as well.

Justin’s involvement only makes matters worse, and Leah flees. While Rose attempts to persuade Justin not to pursue her, Leah retreats to the Diner and shuts herself inside. Justin, desperate to reach Leah, makes his way in, but his plan backfires when she approaches him with a knife.
Surprised to be held at knifepoint by his partner, Justin furiously tries to persuade Leah that he is on her side. When Theo walks into the stressful scenario, he begs his aunt to lay down the knife, but Leah becomes increasingly agitated. Theo’s proposal that they call Rose just makes matters worse, as she remains concerned that Rose is also a member of Vita Nova.

When Theo calls doctor Bree Cameron, Bree persuades Leah to drop the knife. However, when Bree takes Leah home, she discloses that she has no memory of the previous night.
As she recalls fleeting memories of herself wielding a weapon, she becomes scared that she has injured someone. Leah begs Bree to tell her what she did that night.
When Bree meets up with Justin and Theo the next day, she reveals that she believes Leah has had a psychotic episode, which was most likely triggered by a mix of her trauma from being kidnapped by Vita Nova and recent insomnia.

When Justin gets to speak with Leah, she is broken. He claims that there is nothing for him to forgive, but Leah refuses since she is aware that she could have gravely wounded her partner and that she requires appropriate assistance.
At the hospital, Bree assists Leah in informing her family that she will be leaving to spend time at a mental health clinic, as Leah understands that she need intensive care that she cannot receive at Summer Bay.
Leah and Justin exchange emotional goodbyes as Leah departs for the clinic, where she will have no contact with her loved ones.
Will Leah get the help she requires while she is away?
