Ada Nicodemou, a Home and Away star, has unveiled a new career outside of acting.
The actress, best known for her role as Leah Patterson on the soap, took to Instagram to announce that she has authored her first children’s book.
Mia Megastar follows a teenage dancing and singing fanatic who strives to realize her ambition of becoming a megastar, but not without some trouble. The book will be launched on April 3 and is currently available for pre-order.
“I’m very excited to announce my brand new book, Mia Megastar!” Ada captioned the new video.
“It’s all about family, food, friendship & fun and is the perfect junior fiction novel for all the young people out there (aimed at 8 year old girls and above) who want to be megastars,” she said, next to an emoji of a star.
The actress elaborated on her latest project in the accompanying Reel, stating, “It’s loosely based on my childhood and what inspired me to become an actor. And Mia accomplishes this by starting her own drama club with her buddies.
She continued, “It’s humorous, warm, and all about the weird Greek culture. You’ll adore it!”
Leah has recently been at the center of several gloomy narratives. Following her kidnapping by the nefarious Vita Nova cult, the Summer Bay character was left to die in an empty building alongside her partner Justin.
In episodes showing in the UK next week, Leah will speak up to Justin about her horrific ordeal.
