Home And Away Return Confirmed For Emotional Funeral Episode

Felicity Newman’s heartbreaking burial is scheduled for this coming weekend, and Home and Away has reported that her brother Cash, who is devastated, is organizing her farewell party.

Last week, Australian fans witnessed Felicity pass out during Cash and Eden Fowler’s engagement celebration, causing a shocking collapse.

According to a recent story from TV Week, Felicity and Cash’s foster father, Gary Morrow, will visit Summer Bay again in honor of Felicity, who will tragically pass away in future scenes from a brain aneurysm.

Doctor Bree Cameron informs Cash and Felicity’s ex-husband Tane Parata that it is unlikely for Felicity to regain consciousness, leaving them with the difficult decision of whether to remove her life support.

The two are initially at odds, but when Bree inquires as to whether Felicity had thought of donating her organs after she passed away, Cash has a revelation. Cash takes his choice after realizing that his sister’s life support system might be turned off, perhaps saving the lives of others.

Felicity is taken down the hospital corridor to the operating room for an organ donation procedure, where she dies away calmly next to her loved ones, under the protection of a guard of honor.

Cash, who is still in mourning, announces that he only wants family members to attend his sister’s funeral later in the week.

The actor who plays Cash, Nicholas Cartwright, said, “I don’t think Cash has quite processed everything, and a big funeral would just be too much,” adding that he doubts his character “will ever really move on from this.”

Friends and neighbors of Felicity are not allowed to attend her funeral, so they start coming up with creative ways to pay tribute to her. Tane gives a powerful Māori haka performance as Justin Morgan and Mackenzie Booth organize a “Festival of Felicity.”

Gary comes to Summer Bay for the family ceremony more than a year after his last contact with his foster children. Eden is there to encourage him as he and Cash take Felicity to her last resting place.
