Cash and Eden are scheduled to travel to the UK for Felicity’s private funeral next week on Home and Away; however, Cash feels compelled to make a snap choice regarding his relationship due to the recent occurrences.

Now that the terrible events of the past week have passed, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) deserves to be laid to rest.
After having a brain aneurysm that caused her to fall in Salt, Flick was taken to Northern Districts Hospital and had surgery, but a second bleed later rendered her brain dead.

The second neurological evaluation, which was mandated by law to establish a lack of brain activity, was attended by big brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright), who at first refused to accept Bree’s (Juliet Godwin) diagnosis. It was only then that Cash realized his sister was no longer with them.
For a few days, Cash hesitated to let Flick’s life support to be turned off because he wasn’t ready to say goodbye. However, Flick’s ex-husband Tane (Ethan Browne) persuaded Cash that Flick wouldn’t want to be dependent on machines.

Following Cash’s consent to donate Flick’s organs, the medical team formed a guard of honor along the hallway as Flick was taken down to surgery.
Despite Eden’s (Stephanie Panozzo) kind support, Cash is still unable to inform foster father Gary (Peter Phelps) of Flick’s passing the next week.
Rather than focusing on packing up Flick’s entire possessions, he stops when he stumbles over her photo album and finds himself staring at a picture of the two of them from their early years.

A package arrives that contains a variety of bridal gowns that Flick had planned for Eden to try on. Eden takes a tremendous hit because she and Cash are grieving together.
Feeling guilty for not allowing Gary to visit the hospital and say his own farewell, Cash still finds it difficult to notify Gary. However, Tane’s few words provide the motivation Cash needed to make the awkward phone call.

Upon learning later in the week that Cash has chosen to have the burial back in the little country town where he and Flick grew up, with only Cash, Gary, and Eden present, Flick’s friends are devastated. Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Justin (James Stewart) concur that Flick’s little funeral doesn’t feel appropriate.

Mackenzie, the co-owner of Salt (Emily Weir), is especially hurt by the news and inquires about the lives of all the other people who also lost Flick. Everyone thinks Justin’s proposal to have their own monument in Summer Bay is fantastic.
Leah and Marilyn (Emily Symons) will help Salt’s chef with the catering, and Mac orders a ton of champagne—free glasses for everyone, because it’s Flick, of course.

Ray Meagher’s character Alf cautions Justin that they should actually obtain Cash’s approval before moving further. When Justin brings up the topic, Cash concurs, saying that it’s a great idea—Flick had always made jokes about holding a “Festival of Felicity.”
Cash and Eden arrive at Gary’s farm while the last preparations are being completed at Salt.
That night, as the three converse, Gary is reminded of a young Flick (played in a flashback by Amalija Leacy) who is dancing in front of the ute’s headlights beneath a nearby tree.

Cash decides that the memory is too traumatic and leaves to collect himself. Gary then reminds Eden that Cash and Flick faced out against the world for a long time.
The trio transports Flick’s casket to the burial site the following day, where it will be interred alongside her cherished parents, Anthony and Jennifer.
Eden sets a bouquet for Flick in addition to placing flowers next to each of their headstones.

Gary delivers a few words, focusing instead on the last few years when he felt blessed to be a part of Flick’s life once more, rather than on her challenging upbringing when she fought to accept him and his wife Katherine as parental figures.
Cash and Eden are taken aback to hear that Flick was the one who informed Gary about their engagement as Gary recounts the occasions when she simply contacted him for guidance or to relay the newest rumors.

She was too pleased for her brother and closest friend to remain silent, but she had vowed secrecy to Gary in preparation for when Cash eventually told him.
The three bid farewell to Flick as she is lowered into the earth after Cash sets the flowers on top of her casket.
After the ceremony, Cash and Eden comfort one another, and Cash shares with Eden the final words Flick spoke to him just before she passed away: that they could both be happy. After experiencing so much sorrow in their life, Cash now feels foolish for having believed her.

Then Cash abruptly tells that their relationship is finished, shocking Eden!
When her fiancé tells Eden that everyone he loves simply gets buried there, Eden stares at him bewildered; he doesn’t want to have to bury her too.
Eden begs Cash to come to her senses, but he instructs her to return home, get the car keys, and drive away. She is no longer someone he wants in his life!

Eden is heartbroken to discover that Cash is being serious, and she grudgingly agrees, leaving Cash in the care of a worried Gary.
Will Gary be able to convince Cash not to make such a dramatic choice?
Levi is also thinking about his younger sister Abigail (Hailey Pinto), who left town with his money after paying him a quick visit for Cash and Eden’s engagement celebration.

Levi was unaware of his sister’s circumstances because he hadn’t seen her in the previous two years. Levi was worried to see that Abby had moved out of her sharehouse a few weeks prior after asking his mother for the address.
He quickly discovered that Abby was also in charge of stealing more than $400 from the surf club’s petty cash tin. After paying club manager John (Shane Withington) back, he eventually received a response to his repeated calls and texts: Abby inquired whether he was going to report her.

A furious Abby returns to the farmhouse the following morning to chastise Levi for cutting her off, and the plan succeeds. The following week, Levi witnesses yet another bank transaction come through on his phone as Abby withdraws $150. Mac points out that Abby is stealing from him, but Levi is just happy to know that she’s alive and using the money to get through whatever she’s going through. Eventually, Mac persuades Levi that bankrolling Abby is only enabling her to avoid facing whatever issues she has.
Abby says she was only going to use the money for living expenses and that she intended to reimburse him. Levi then declines to give her the few hundred bucks she requests unless she explains her true need for them.

Abby decides to go ask Eden instead, but before she can, Levi interrupts and tells her what’s occurred with Flick.
Later, after learning about the monies that were stolen from the surf club from Rose (Kirsty Marillier), Mac storms home. Levi had assured John that there was no need to worry about Rose’s suspicions concerning Abby, and he eventually persuaded John to withdraw his complaint. Mac asks Levi when he will draw the line as Abby quickly leaves.

Abby flinches when Levi tries to stop her from departing after dropping her off at the bus station as instructed.
Abby begins to cry, and Levi becomes worried, wondering whether someone has been harming her. Reluctantly, she lifts her arm to show him the track marks on it.
When Levi realizes the reality of the situation, he is distraught. His younger sister is an alcoholic.
