As he posted pictures of his youngest daughter Romanie-Skye, who is rarely seen, to celebrate her 13th birthday earlier this year, EastEnders actor Shane Richie looked every bit the happy father.
Legend of EastEnders Shane Richie was giddy with happiness in an uncommon photo with his daughter Romanie-Skye, and fans were drooling over the precious family time.
The 60-year-old actor, who rose to popularity on the popular soap opera as the endearing Alfie Moon, is married to 45-year-old Christie Goddard, an accomplished actress, and together they have a daughter. Earlier this year, Shane joyfully shared the endearing family photos on social media to celebrate Romanie-Skye’s 13th birthday. The pictures capture the family enjoying themselves greatly at Thorpe Park on Romanie-Skye’s special day.
Shane is shown grinning broadly, strolling through the amusement park with his teenage daughter while wearing a casual puffer jacket. Christie, his wife, is also seen with him. Shane is dressed down for the day. In his message, the actor expressed his gratitude for the park’s thrilling attractions and birthday celebrations, writing, “13th birthday celebrations were in full swing (literally) at @thorpeparkofficial.”
“Please let me know if you discover my stomach anywhere close to The Swarm! We really adored it and are eager to return.” Romanie-Skye’s growth from a cute baby to a teenager is depicted in a charming sequence of pictures that Shane also shared, according to OK!. Among the special moments are when she plays an angel in a school play.
The cherished EastEnders actor annotated the collage with the following statement: “”Our little child has become an official teenager in the flash of an eye. Greetings on your 13th birthday, Romanie-Skye. Our little darling Roro, you are not only wise and lovely, witty and cunning, but most of all you are big-hearted, compassionate, and emotionally developed much beyond your years.” The famous person continued: “Your smile brightens up our world and we couldn’t love you more.”
Heartfelt birthday greetings for Shane quickly descended upon the comments area from his admirers. One devoted fan wrote: “Happy 13th birthday, Romanie-Skye, to your beautiful daughter. Wishing her the happiest day ever xxx,” one follower said, while another said, “Mate, kids grow up too soon, I tell ya!”
Even though Shane has been well-known for more than 20 years—save for a few hiatuses—for his portrayal of the endearing outlaw Alfie Moon, he has been very private about his personal life. Shane has been happily married to Christie since 2007. The two of them have three children together: Mackenzie Blue, who is eighteen years old, Lolita-Belle, who is sixteen, and tiny Romanie Skye, who is thirteen. Shane has two kids, Jake, 32, and Shane Jr., 36, with his ex-girlfriend Coleen Nolan.
Shane, his oldest child, married Maddie Wadhan, Miss Great Britain, and Jake, his musician son, has been touring the world and entertaining crowds with none other than Ed Sheeran.
