Home And Away Confirms Shock Return For Ziggy And Dean

The return of Sophie Dillman and Patrick O’Connor as Ziggy Astoni and Dean Thompson in Home and Away is announced for the upcoming season.

Later this month, scenes in tropical north Queensland’s Whitsunday Region will be shot for a top-secret plot that will be seen on TV sometime in 2025.

Upon arriving back at the renowned Australian soap opera, Dillman exclaimed, “It feels so good to be home!”

O’Connor continued, “I can’t wait for the action, and for fans to see this storyline play out.”

Fans of Home and Away will learn all the specifics of Ziggy and Dean’s comeback in the New Year, as it is yet unknown who or what will be involved.

The beloved pair departed from Home and Away in 2023 after their daughter Izzy was born.

Dean realized he would need to travel for 21 hours to see his son Jai after learning with dismay that his former partner, Amber, was relocating to North Queensland with their son.

After Ziggy proposed that she and Dean move to Queensland as well, the pair hurriedly packed their belongings and bid farewell to friends and relatives, including Mackenzie, Dean’s sister.

Dean and Ziggy reminisced about their time together, which wasn’t always easy, as they savored their last moments in the Bay.

Dillman, who joined the show in 2017, and O’Connor, who joined in 2018, both posted farewell statements after leaving that looked back on their time spent in the Bay.
