Following the brutal murder of his abusive father Carl, Perri Hayes from Home and Away will soon be facing even more hardships.
Perri may have to do time in prison after his father’s horrific attack last month caused him to drown in a swimming pool. Since then, he has been accused of murder.

According to information obtained by TV Week Australia, Perri feels that no one accepts that he was defending himself during the fight with his father.
He has the decision to go, but his mentor and buddy Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) persuades him to fight to prove his innocence.
Actor Cantona Stewart stated, “[Perri is] worried he’ll be sentenced to life in prison.” Tane is like an older brother or father figure to Perri, so he’s really lucky to have him on his side.
“He’s the only person in his life who demonstrates real love, which is something foreign to him.”

Tane and police officer Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) both attest that Carl was a violent person, but Perri’s situation doesn’t appear favorable in the absence of concrete proof.
When it appears that Perri would be found guilty, Jane, her attorney, summons a last-minute witness to testify.
Will the “huge and unexpected” occurrence that Cantona described be sufficient to change his character’s fortunes?
