Back To The Bay Launches Home And Away’s Most Popular Character 2024

Which characters from Home and Away are your all-time favorites? As voting for the eleventh Home and Away Most Popular Character poll on Back to the Bay opens, we would want to know.

The Home and Away Most Popular Character survey has been conducted by Back to the Bay for the previous 20 years. We ask viewers to vote for their favorite characters from the show’s past every two years, and the winners are announced in the run-up to Christmas.

Since the show’s debut on Australian television on January 17, 1988, there have been approximately 37 years’ worth of characters to pick from.

Even though there have been ten surveys so far, there haven’t been ten winners. Only three characters have actually ever won the most votes, and one of those was a tie:

Irene Roberts in 2004
Sally Fletcher in 2006

Sally Fletcher in 2008
Sally Fletcher in 2010
Sally Fletcher in 2012
Sally Fletcher in 2014
Sally Fletcher, 2016
Alf Stewart and Sally Fletcher in 2018
Sally Fletcher in 2020
Alf Stewart in 2022

Will Alf win for the third time, or will Sally win for the ninth time, and who will earn the title of Home and Away Most Popular Character 2024?

You alone make the decision. as well as our other guests.

Your email information will only be used by us to ensure that your vote is only counted once. Simply check the box to be added to our mailing list if you would want to get our weekly newsletter, which contains spoilers for Australian soap operas. If not, you won’t be hearing from us in the future.

You must carefully consider your five character choices.
Regular characters and visitors are both accepted.
Kindly include the character’s last name; if you just put “Ben,” we won’t be able to distinguish between Ben Murray, Ben Astoni, or Ben Lucini. Please go to our Characters section if you need a refresher.

Characters that made their debut in Episode 8336 or later—which will appear on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Australia, and Monday, October 14, in the UK—will not be eligible because, as of the beginning of the voting period, these episodes have not been shown in the UK.
