Coronation Street confirms return of terrorist in ‘murder’ story

As fans will remember, Reece was a part of the far-right extremist gang who terrorized the Cobbles’ people in 2022 and 2023 under the leadership of Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron).

Reece’s daughter Lauren (Cait Fitton) was coerced and used by her father to carry out the group’s orders, establishing a bond with Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and igniting a rivalry between him and Daryan Zahawi (Twana Omer).

The far-right organization had long since made Aya Nazir (Sair Khan) believe that Griff, Reece, and his friends were untrustworthy.

Her suspicions were confirmed when she discovered a bomb in a van outside Speed Daal. Determined to drive the explosive as far away as possible, she drove the car off the street bearing its name, effectively saving many lives.

Reece, on the other hand, was taken into custody alongside Griff and is still incarcerated for his actions.

However, the character will return to the screen the following week when Max pays him a visit in jail after learning of Lauren’s disappearance.

A mainstay of the cobbles now, Lauren disappeared earlier this year, barely hours after telling Roy she was planning to depart.

Sadly, Roy ends himself in the picture after Bobby (Jack Carroll) informs the authorities of his suspicions. The beloved café owner now faces a life sentence in prison for a crime he did not commit.

In next scenes, Reece will send two strong men to confront the TV legend in his famous cafe after learning that Roy was involved in the crime, putting Roy in grave risk.
