Coronation Street’s Eva Price Could Be Heading for a Shocking New Cheating Storyline
Coronation Street fans are convinced a shocking affair could be in store for Eva Price. Eva, played by Catherine Tyldesley, first appeared on the cobbles in 2011 before leaving the soap in 2018.
However, Eva made her return to Weatherfield last year and took on the role of landlady at the Rovers Return. She arrived back in Weatherfield with her new family, including her boyfriend Ben, played by Aaron McCusker, and his mother Maggie, portrayed by Pauline McGlynn.
The family also includes Ben’s two sons, Ollie, played by Raphael Akuwudike, and Will, portrayed by Lucas Hodgson-Wale. It’s safe to say they have experienced plenty of drama over the past few months, particularly after discovering that Will had been groomed by his teacher Megan Walsh, played by Beth Nixon, for months.
Meanwhile, events took a terrifying turn for Eva on the soap last week when she was left unconscious in the cellar of the Rovers Return after Sam Blakeman, played by Jude Riordan, pushed past her.
Sam, who has been dealing with his mental health struggles, had gone to the Rovers in search of his phone after his dad, Nick Tilsley, played by Ben Price, had confiscated it. While Eva was busy working, a distressed Sam suddenly came across her and, in his panic, ran past her, causing her to fall into the cellar.
Rather than immediately seeking help, Sam remained beside Eva’s motionless body. He eventually fled the scene, leaving Eva behind. She was later found and taken to hospital, where she received treatment for the injuries she had suffered.
Eva was later shown recovering in hospital as questions continued to surround the circumstances of the incident. When money also went missing from the pub, police began to suspect that the theft could be linked to the attack on Eva.
Carl Webster, played by Jonathan Howard, was subsequently identified as the main suspect, leaving Sam struggling with intense guilt. Eva eventually recalled that it was Sam who had pushed her, while Sam later admitted the truth to his dad Nick, played by Ben Price, and other members of his family.
However, fans now believe that while Eva continues to recover from the traumatic attack, she could potentially end up being unfaithful to her partner Ben. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, viewers have speculated that Eva may start an affair with Carl.
One fan commented: “I can see Carl and Eva having a thing soon.” Another agreed, writing: “Yesss, can Carl and Eva get together plsss.”
A third viewer added: “Wouldn’t surprise me.” Meanwhile, another fan reacted: “Oh not another affair please!?”
