Coronation Street Fans Convinced They Know Who Mystery Man Is In Missing Lauren Bolton Storyline

Supporters of Coronation Street are certain they know who the enigmatic man filming Roy Cropper is. Viewers have seen a stranger recording Roy in his Rolls café and at the police station during the previous four days. Roy was mistakenly arrested in connection with the disappearance of Lauren Bolton.

Following the discovery of bloodstains in her flat, Lauren vanished a few weeks ago, but the police are now treating the matter more seriously. The audience was not privy to Lauren’s (Caitlin Fitton) departure from Weatherfield; she remained true to her word to leave in silence, telling no one but her supervisor Roy.

Max Turner was recruited by Lauren, who was new to the cobbles, into an extreme right-wing group. In prison, Max made the covert decision to pay Lauren’s father Reece a visit. He asked him questions about Lauren and unintentionally revealed that Roy had been falsely accused of being implicated in Lauren’s murder.

This resulted in Roy being questioned by two suspicious men who were friends of Recce’s when they locked the café doors. Roy was fortunate to be saved by Nick Tilsley and Carla Connor, but the incident caused him to be late for his police rendezvous at the station.

Supporters noticed an odd man filming Roy in the Rolls café, then photographing him in the police station. “I’m wondering if that guy who was recording Roy in the café and police station is Lauren’s boyfriend or has anything to do with it,” a user commented on the social networking site X.
