According to the most recent Coronation Street spoilers, Carla Connor will learn the truth about Stephen’s finances after Daisy’s extravagant spending habits backfire.

Daisy and Jenny discovered Stephen’s stash of cash, which he had taken from Carla and the underworld, and they used it to save the Rovers.

But when Daisy keeps flashing the cash, Bethany starts to wonder. And Carla soon discovers the truth as well, having discovered evidence of Daisy and Jenny’s plot.

Coronation Street spoilers: Daisy’s spending arouses suspicion in Bethany

When Daisy gets out of Tim’s cab with a bunch of shopping bags, Bethany remarks that Daisy must have spent a lot of money. Daisy retorts, saying everything comes from charity stores.

Bethany is intrigued to hear Jenny scolding Daisy in the Rovers for going on such a costly shopping spree. She makes the argument that, financially, they must maintain a low profile.

Afterwards, Tim admits that he picked Daisy up from Manchester’s downtown, and Bethany discovers that she had been lying about the charity stores.

Bethany plays detective

In an attempt to mend fences with Daisy, Bethany tells Daniel she’s heading to see if she needs any assistance cooking. Bethany convinces Daisy to let her assist with cooking at the Rovers. Bethany increases the oven’s temperature for the apple pie while Daisy is preoccupied.

Daisy heads to the store to get a replacement when the apple pie burns completely. Ryan and Bethany are left to cook the dinner by themselves.

Bethany jumps at the chance to go through drawers as Jenny calls Ryan to the bar. She quickly leaves, shoving something inside her handbag.

When she gets back to the apartment, Bethany takes Stephen’s journal out of her luggage and looks through it with curiosity. What has she discovered?

Carla learns the truth

Jenny informs Daisy that they must figure out a means to reimburse Carla for the money without her knowing in the Rovers. Daisy still believes that they ought to remain silent, though.

Sally is admiring Daisy’s new designer bag at the Rovers while karaoke night is in full swing. Jenny doesn’t realize her remarks are being recorded over the karaoke microphone as she chastises Daisy for showing off her money.

Carla can’t help but notice the tension as Ryan intervenes to diffuse the situation. Carla finds Jenny in Victoria Garden unhappy and questions her about Bethany’s misgivings over Stephen’s money.

Under duress, Jenny breaks down and says they took money, but they had every intention of paying it back.
