Will Kit finally step in?
Sarah is set to appear before the jury in next week’s Coronation Street spoilers as she pleads with Kit for help. He initially turns her down, but could he eventually change his mind and come to her rescue?
Meanwhile, Bethany comes up with a plan to get her mum released from prison by putting all the blame on Gary. But after everything he has done for Sarah, will she really agree to turn against him?
Elsewhere, tensions rise between Leanne and Nick as their battle over the bistro continues, while Debbie’s condition takes a worrying turn and Ronnie struggles to deal with the situation.
Here’s everything you need to know and more from next week’s Coronation Street spoilers.

1. Kit declines to help Sarah
Sarah asks Kit to appear as a character witness at her trial, but he refuses to get involved. Bethany then approaches him and pleads with him to change his mind, only for Kit to leave her stunned by revealing that he has cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy.

2. Kit undergoes his first chemotherapy session
Before Kit heads off for his first chemotherapy treatment, Brody arrives to see him. Trying to stay positive, Kit asks his son to shave his head for him.
Bernie later goes with Kit to the hospital and offers him support by sharing memories and stories from his childhood.
Brody visits Kit again afterwards and tells him how much he needs him now more than ever. Kit embraces his son as he begins to face the difficult road ahead.

3. Sarah discovers Kit’s cancer diagnosis
Bethany urges Kit to tell Sarah about his cancer before her trial, but he refuses to reveal the truth.
Later, Bethany and Todd visit Sarah and find her devastated by Kit’s refusal to testify. Todd accidentally lets slip that Kit has breast cancer, leaving Sarah completely stunned.
Bethany then pleads with Sarah to allow Gary to take full responsibility for Theo’s death, reminding her that Kit and Harry need her. Sarah is left torn over what she should do.

4. Sarah’s trial gets off to a difficult start
As Sarah looks around her prison cell, she begins to realise that she could be spending many years behind bars. During the trial, the prosecution barrister tells the jury that Sarah became enraged by the way Theo was treating Todd, leading her to take matters into her own hands and kill him.
Lisa and Danielle then take the witness stand, and events quickly take a heartbreaking turn for Sarah…

5. Bethany takes things too far with Kit
David is furious following the first day of Sarah’s trial and accuses Lisa of deliberately damaging her defence. He then confronts Kit over what he sees as his failure to support Sarah.
Kit finally snaps, telling David and Bethany that he wants to have nothing more to do with their family.

6. Todd struggles with his nerves in court
Tyrone spots Todd entering the undertakers and questions why he isn’t in court. Todd admits that he doesn’t feel able to face the situation, but Tyrone encourages him to come forward and tell the truth.
Todd eventually arrives to give evidence at a crucial moment, after the prosecution barrister has strongly criticised Sarah. He speaks up in Sarah’s defence, but will his testimony be enough to make a difference?
7. Kit takes the witness stand
Bethany pleads with Kit to reconsider and give evidence for Sarah and Harry’s sake. She puts pressure on him to do what she believes is the right thing.
However, when Kit finally takes the stand, the big question is whether he will reveal the truth — and whether his evidence will help Sarah or leave her in an even worse position.
8. Jake struggles to forgive his dad
Gary receives a date for his court hearing and warns Jake and Liam that he could potentially be sent to prison. The following day, Gary is informed by the school that Jake has been suspended after getting into a fight.
Jake angrily confronts his dad, saying that Gary risked his freedom for Sarah, proving that he doesn’t care about him, Liam or Maria. Later, Jake packs his belongings and walks out.
9. Gary risks losing his son — and his freedom
Jake returns to Izzy’s house and makes it clear that he no longer wants to live with Gary. Upset by the situation, Gary meets Jake at the café and desperately asks him to come home. However, Jake refuses, pointing out that Gary chose to put Sarah ahead of his own family.
Maria tries to reassure Gary that Sarah won’t betray him, that he won’t end up in prison and that Jake will soon return home. But can Gary really count on Sarah to support him?

10. Speed Daal hit by food poisoning scandal
Leanne is stunned when she arrives at the restaurant and discovers that Tracy, along with several other angry customers, has suffered from food poisoning. Ollie checks the kitchen and finds that the meat served the night before had already passed its sell-by date.
Leanne soon realises that Nick was responsible for the delivery and begins to suspect him. Was it simply an innocent mistake, or has Nick deliberately sabotaged the restaurant?

11. The bistro crisis deepens
Tracy demands compensation, while Idris believes Nick should foot the bill because the mistake was his. He and Leanne confront Nick and insist that he accept responsibility, but will he agree to take the blame?
Things soon get even worse as the bistro is hit with a wave of negative online reviews and more customers begin cancelling their bookings. Toyah tries to reassure everyone that the situation will eventually pass, but when Nick is unable to pay their meat supplier and is forced to source meat from Frescho, Leanne suggests they should cut their losses and sell the business.

12. Toyah confronts Leanne over the bistro
Toyah tells Leanne that she has figured out that she and Idris are deliberately trying to undermine the bistro so they can eventually buy it at a much cheaper price. But has Toyah uncovered the truth?
Meanwhile, Idris urges Nick to do the right thing and sell the bistro back to Leanne. Will Nick finally agree to his demands?

13. Debbie continues to make mistakes
Debbie turns up for work, only for Ronnie to remind her that she is actually meant to have the day off. She tries to cover up the fact that she has forgotten about several meetings, leaving Ryan to find some tasks for her to do at the hotel.
Later, Debbie makes some toast but puts a knife into the toaster, prompting Ronnie to intervene. She becomes upset and accuses him of treating her like a child before storming out.
Debbie is due to have lunch with Bernie, but when Bernie fails to turn up, she ends up eating with Asha instead. Ronnie later comes to check on her, but Debbie takes offence at his concern. Asha suggests that Ronnie should consider joining a local dementia support group, but will he take her advice?

14. Abi confronts Ronnie about his suspected ‘affair’
After discovering a care home leaflet in the bin, Debbie becomes convinced that something is wrong with Ronnie. She asks Abi to keep an eye on him, believing he may be having an affair and secretly planning to move her into a care home.
Abi spots Ronnie in Victoria Garden with his arms around another woman. Ronnie explains that she is someone he met through the support group, but he still refuses to tell Debbie the full truth.
15. The shooting investigation takes an unexpected turn
Lisa decides to revisit some of the statements given earlier, but her further questioning leaves one person struggling to hide their panic…

16. Tyrone turns down Ross
Ross wants Tyrone to become tougher and is determined to make sure Dorin doesn’t follow in his father’s footsteps, so he invites Tyrone to spend an evening at the local boxing gym. He insists that Dorin comes along too, even though Tyrone isn’t particularly interested.
However, Tyrone refuses to return to the gym, frustrating Ross, who had hoped they would attend every week. What will Ross do next?
