Coronation Street’s Damon continues lying to Sarah amid Harvey plan

Spoilers for Coronation Street are below.

The falsehoods that Coronation Street’s Damon Hay tells his girlfriend Sarah Barlow are about to get worse because of Harvey Gaskell’s scheme.

Harvey was requested to get rid of Sarah’s new boyfriend Damon, with whom she had an affair, by her former partner Adam, with whom Harvey had just been involved in dubious activities.

In exchange, attorney Adam started working on an appeal of Harvey’s conviction for the illegal conspiracy that killed Natasha Blakeman by having a dying cancer patient take the fall.

However, Adam chose to abandon the plan, which landed him in the hospital after he attempted to hit and run Sarah and Bethany Platt.

Harvey has started threatening his half-brother Damon from prison because he has little chance of having his sentence overturned.

Harvey threatened to harm Sarah if Damon didn’t go back to his illegal ways and help him find a job, according to a heated phone call.

In the midst of Damon and Sarah’s exhilarating preparations to move in and buy a house, Damon threatened to call the police if he didn’t receive a cut of the job’s earnings.

In scenes that will run on Friday, March 22, Sarah says that the mansion she saw was the stuff of dreams when she returns from seeing it.

With his risky plan in mind, Damon assures Sarah that he would make every effort to raise the funds.

Later, Harvey provides Damon instructions regarding his role in the impending robbery over the phone while he’s incarcerated.

Lying to Sarah, Damon tells her he is seeing a potential new client who may be very profitable, thus he won’t be able to make it to her son Harry’s party the next day.

Before it’s too late, will Sarah find out what Damon is up to?

Will Mellor, who portrays gangster Harvey in the ITV soap opera, wrapped up filming last month, and it was announced that the character would be leaving the program again soon.
