Coronation Street’s Roy risks another big mistake in Lauren mystery

In the mystery surrounding Lauren Bolton, Roy Cropper of Coronation Street will once more take a very dangerous gamble next week.

Roy was the last person to see Lauren before she vanished, and he has since risen to the top of the suspect list for both the police and social media, particularly DS Swain. By attending Lauren’s vigil and giving a speech, for example, he hasn’t exactly helped himself either.

In scenes that will premiere on Wednesday, April 3, next week, Bernie Winter finds out that Lauren’s mother Kerry’s contact information has been uploaded online.

Even though Roy has good intentions, Evelyn Plummer cautions him from contacting Kerry despite his outrage at the current state of affairs.

Naturally, Roy follows through on that and leaves her a note wishing her the deepest sympathy.

But will this turn out to be a huge error given Roy’s current level of attention?

a disorder that manifests itself whenever he experiences really trying situations, like the death of his parents or his major surgery last year.

Dee-Dee Bailey, in the meantime, has promised to assist Roy in clearing his record but has acknowledged that she is concerned about how he would be able to pay for his legal representation should the matter go to trial.

What is Lauren’s true situation? And will all of this be resolved before Roy’s life is destroyed?
