In an exclusive interview, Ryan Prescott, who plays Ryan Connor on Coronation Street and has recently been at the center of a significant plotline, discussed his admiration for two of his co-stars.
Ryan Prescott, who portrays Ryan Connor on the popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street, has praised his co-stars Alison King and Chris Gascoyne, calling them “two of the most amazing people” he has ever worked with.
Ryan the actor really values this because it gives him more time working with his aunt Carla (played by Alison King) and her husband Peter (Chris Gascoyne), who have practically taken on the role of his surrogate parents since his character was permanently scarred in an acid attack.
At the Inside Soap awards on Monday night, he made an exclusive statement to dailystars.co saying that Ally King and Chris Gascoyne are two of the most amazing people he has ever worked with.
They are simply the kinds of people you interact with on set and pick up from.
He continued, looking far more at ease than his on-screen persona at the moment: “Everything they do bleeds into your work.
They are amazing people in general and such gifted actors. They are both people I get along with quite well.
“I try to keep up with them every day and I learn from them every day.”
If I’m being completely honest, it’s one of the best parts of the job right now.
The fantastic experiences Ryan had while filming stand in sharp contrast to his current characters.
When he was exposed for using an online cam, viewers were horrified on Monday night.
He received a message from one of his subscribers after finishing a livestream informing him that the filter he had been using to conceal his identity had been removed.
He was startled and attempted to deny it when they admitted that they had recognized him from a newspaper article as the victim of the acid attack.
But after Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) showed their article to characters in the Rovers Return, including Carla, the Weatherfield Gazette was already investigating the situation.
Ryan must make some important decisions now that his private work is public, and these decisions may have an impact on how much time he spends on screen with Alison and Peter.
