Today’s (October 23, 2024) episode of EastEnders featured distressing moments where Tommy Moon’s (Sonny Kendall) actions went out of control once more.
Following Tommy’s outburst at Freddie (Bobby Brazier), Jean (Gillian Wright) and Alfie (Shane Richie) became rather worried about Tommy’s emotional state and began to provide Kat (Jessie Wallace) some support.
While denying her worry about Tommy and claiming it was only a phase he was going through, Kat appeared to be absorbed in the matter.
Uncertain, however, Alfie and Jean heard Tommy yelling at Bert and Ernie, who were cowering on the sofa, as they made their way back to the flat.
Tommy stormed out of the room without listening to Alfie’s attempt to assert authority.
Jean consoled the kids, requesting to see where Tommy had injured them so she could treat it. However, she was alarmed to find an arm covered in bruises, which were most likely Tommy’s.
As Alfie contemplated his options, Jean kept the kids close.
Naturally, he had to talk to Kat about everything, but she firmly refused to listen to her ex and pushed him away with pride.
However, when she was by herself with Tommy, Kat’s apprehension was evident as she thought over what to do next.
She had no idea that Jean, who was seen calling social services at the end of the program, had taken the decision away from her.
How is Tommy going to fare? When Kat finds out what Jean did, how will she respond?
