EastEnders Shocker: Deceased Character’s Will Reveals Chilling Secret

Next week on EastEnders, Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman), who is still hiding his deadly secret, will be revealed through the reading of his deceased wife’s bequest.

Viewers witnessed Reiss suffocating an unconscious Debbie in her care home bed earlier this year, and his fiancée Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) has since been mistakenly imprisoned for her homicide.

After visiting Walford last week, Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer), her sister, began pressuring Reiss to reveal the truth. She then moved back into No. 25 to keep a watch on him.

Bianca finds a weird letter he used to spy on him, and when she opens it and learns what’s inside, she’s astonished.

Debbie’s will reading day finally arrives.

When Debbie’s parents, Brenda and Hugh Collins (Nichola McAuliffe and Michael Bertenshaw), show up for her will reading, there’s still another shocking twist in store.

Bianca is quickly removed from the room, but not before listening in through the open door and being astounded to learn that Debbie has left a number of startling requests in her will. But what are they?

Could Debbie have completely disinherited her husband? Debbie’s mother Brenda had earlier told Reiss that her daughter had been preparing to divorce him before having a stroke that changed her life.

For the heinous Reiss, who murdered Debbie to try to get out of debt and had planned to use her life insurance to pay Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) for his obligations, it would be disastrous.

Actress Patsy Palmer discusses Bianca’s realization during the will reading, stating, “She starts to wonder if Reiss is slightly delusional.” She notices a sudden change in his behavior right away.

In other words, just as Bianca is about to give up, something new appears and motivates her to keep going.
