Does this mean that Nasty Nish is finally gone?
It seems that actor Navin Chowdhry has officially announced his exit from EastEnders.
On Friday, November 1, 2024, the winner of the RadioTimes.com Soap Awards took to Instagram after Thursday’s dramatic Halloween episode aired.
After an emotionally charged altercation with his granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), the abusive and terminally sick Nish ultimately chose to release his ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and accept responsibility for the death of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
After Nish confessed to ordering a hit on Keanu on Christmas Day 2023, the Six watched with relief as Walford Police took him away.
A brief video of Nish was posted by actor Navin Chowdhry with the caption “Nish Panesar 2022-2024 [black heart emoji]”; fans were left to wonder if this was indeed the villain’s departure from Albert Square.
“The Greatest [red heart emoji, raised fist emoji, red heart emoji]” was the statement made by Aaron Thiara, Chowdhry’s on-screen son who portrays Ravi Gulati in the serial opera.
In the meanwhile, Honey Mitchell’s actress Emma Barton wrote: “Wonderful wonderful you.”
When asked if these were Chowdhry’s last moments, the BBC serial refused to comment to RadioTimes.com, despite the tragic sequences on Halloween and Chowdhry’s message.
Could we still witness some of Nish’s last scenes before the year ends, because we haven’t seen him die on-screen and he begged Suki to see him in prison before he passes away from viral myocarditis?
Whether or whether Nish’s confession is accepted, The Six will soon face another obstacle.
