Eden McCoy On The End Of Josslyn And Dex On GENERAL HOSPITAL

Josslyn and Dex haven’t always had a smooth relationship on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and she’s been especially taken aback by the recent news that he was willing to kill Cyrus under Sonny’s command. Although Joss has never been fond of Dex working for Sonny, it seems like this went too far! Is this indeed the couple’s last goodbye?

Eden McCoy (Josslyn) told Soap Opera Digest, “Obviously, Joss knows that he’s killed people before and that he does Shady things for Sonny.” However, I believe that this scenario is unique and what drives her over the brink because it wasn’t a case of self-defense. There was no shootout. He wasn’t keeping Sonny safe. Cyrus was not moving at all!

“And to see him in the light of killing someone voluntarily in their sleep, I think that really scares her,” she continued. “Shooting someone who is shooting at Sonny is not the same as that.” She seems genuinely shocked and astonished by the situation.

Naturally, Josslyn may directly blame Sonny for giving Dex the order to kill a man who was unconscious in a hospital bed, which only serves to intensify her loathing of him. “I believe she is simply devastated that Sonny stole something else from her, and she’s devastated that she can’t persuade Dex not to have done [what he did],” McCoy said. She desires for him to be someone else. The thing is, she wants him to have never thought of doing that, but she knows she can’t.

Even though Josslyn left Dex after finding out this stunning revelation (thank you, Nina!), will this breakup last forever, or will she change her mind after giving it some thought? The actress revealed, “I think she’s pretty confident that this is a deal-breaker for her. She’s stubborn and she’ll probably stick to that, at least for a while.”
