According to spoilers for General Hospital (GH), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) made a brave decision to break up with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but this was just one of many poor mistakes he would make to make sure he never gets his goat again.
He had no intention of placing himself beneath his twin brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), in terms of importance. It was agonizing enough to imagine being exposed and treated like an idiot, let alone going through it.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Isn’t the Same
Although Drew appeared upset with Carly at the time, his true target of rage will soon be his brother, who has returned home and appears to be interfering in everyone’s life.
But how far will Drew go in his revenge plan, and how much of it is motivated by their shared ex?
Drew had returned from Pentonville a different man, and Carly and he were doomed to fail. Drew’s horrific prison experience has molded him, and while he almost lost his life for being overly gentle and trusting, the result isn’t one that everyone is happy with.
Similar worries were voiced by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but things ended well when Drew admitted he wasn’t quite himself and promised to work harder to avoid letting her new peculiarities get in the way of their co-parenting of Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).
Regarding Carly, she was shocked when Drew broke up with her since he thought she wouldn’t prioritize him anymore, but was he truly wrong?

GH Spoilers Hint Jason Could Bear the Brunt of Drew’s Feelings
Let’s be sincere. When Jason came to Carly, she saw only his needs since she had a tunnel vision for him. She never thought to include Drew.
Before telling Drew anything that had transpired, she even went to her ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
She simply hadn’t gotten around to calling him, so he had to come to her to acquire that information. Drew is still hurt by that even though they broke up.
He’s not going to get over this easily, especially after witnessing Carly do exactly what he anticipated she would do: move on, drawing nearer to and becoming enamored with Jason.
Even though Drew would really like to hurt Carly for continuing to love a man he knew she wasn’t over, he understands that any retaliation from him will just make her angry. However, if he harms Jason, then he can harm her, right?
General Hospital Spoilers — It All Comes Back to Carly
Yes, Carly is the main focus at the end. Jason doesn’t pose a threat to Drew. Not that he even thinks highly of him. He sees his brother as completely unlike him, a career criminal who sacrificed his family and reputation to work as a menial mob enforcer.
Even though Drew was being a good guy and making all the right decisions, the bad boy managed to win the girl over.
While some viewers worry that Drew’s new job with Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) may conflict with his desire to get revenge on Carly, it’s also plausible that Drew is prepared to play dirty and would follow all the rules in order to bring Jason down.
Nothing could more severely harm Carly, and it would be best for Drew if she couldn’t be with Jason. Stay tuned for more GH spoilers and info as they become available.
