Home and Away fans fear two key characters are leaving the show

Fans of Home and Away are concerned that two important characters may depart the Australian soap opera shortly.

Due to recent statements on their social media, actors Kirsty Marillier and Luke Van Os, who portray the siblings Rose and Xander Delaney, have left fans speculating about the destinies of their characters.

Marillier just revealed on Instagram that she will be appearing in two plays in 2019: Destiny, which she authored, in August and September, and Picnic at Hanging Rock, which will run from February to April.

According to his Instagram, Van Os has been traveling for the past three weeks, stopping in locations like Bolivia and Peru, indicating that he hasn’t been filming lately.

Following their posts, viewers have been speculating about whether or not they decided to not renew after their initial contracts expired and inquiring if they had departed the soap opera. Several fans have speculated that the two performers, who have lived in Summer Bay for about three years, might have signed three-year contracts.

Since neither performer has announced any possible exits, we may not find out for some time whether they have departed or are taking a vacation from the soap opera. The soap opera has a policy of not disclosing cast departures until their final episode has aired.

In other Home and Away news, actress Lynne McGranger, who portrayed Irene Roberts, recently resumed filming following her participation in a stage production.
