After 36 years, it makes sense that fans might occasionally grow tired of some of the show’s more ridiculous plots. Some viewers are currently dissatisfied with the soap opera; one has stated that it “needs a shake up” due to the “ridiculous” places the writers are taking the program.
Fans are particularly displeased with Stephanie Panozzo’s portrayal of Eden Fowler. First off, a viewer is upset that Eden doesn’t seem to be employed and that she persistently prys into other people’s affairs.
Could the writers please hire Eden? She’s such a talented performer, but seeing her get attached to other people’s affairs is really bothering me.

A spirited conversation ensued after she voiced her objection, with someone questioning, “Exactly, how do they all pay their rent and bills?”
“I’ve never been so against a character. snooping about everyone’s affairs, interfering in non-her own affairs, pulling her face when Cash has to go to work, and generally taking advantage of people. Not into her,” another one said.
Additionally, they simply quit their jobs whenever they feel like it. While Cash was unemployed, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to take the bodyguard position. Moreover, Levi abruptly quit his lucrative job without consulting him, and let’s not even talk about Roo’s sticky beaking,” another person commented.
“I’m done with Eden. Another said, “She’s very needy and annoying lol.”
Other viewers brought up the issue that, after 36 years of Summer Bay, the show is beginning to feel stale. One person expressed fervently in their comment that in order to keep things seeming new, more locales and personalities should be included.
“It ends there—a tavern, a café, a police station, or a surfboard shop—where to work. Yes, the gym as well, although [you] don’t hear about it opening up often these days,” the writer added. “In order to bring in teachers, students, and other relevant elements, we must bring back the high school.” It all comes down to who gets with whom and who is most likely to die or be abducted. repeating the same tales.
Other contentious viewpoints included viewers praising the acting skills of the cast, others claiming they had already given up on the show, and still others writing, “Time for some major changes on this show. Now to get rid of the cast.”
Simply put, it has changed. One third commented, “I’ve been following Home and Away for almost 30 years, and this is the first time I’ve started losing interest.Another said, “Gave up months ago, [the show has] just gone too stupid.”
