Home and Away fans left shocked by ‘cruel’ storyline: ‘Didn’t deserve that’

Felicity was finally laid to rest in a massive triple episode of Home and Away last night, but if you think there wasn’t any drama involved, you would be mistaken. Drama existed, of course—this is bloody Home and Away.

Now, while we adore Felicity and will always miss her, her passing has come too soon, and we feel that her illness has dragged on long enough. We hope she’s toasting champagne with Noah, Belle, Charlie, Jack, Casey, Ari, and all the other wonderful people we lost along the way in the Summer Bay spiritual afterlife.

While the show honored Flick with a memorial where Lyrik thought it would be a good idea to play for a number of extras that Flick had never met before, her brother Cash was making plans to further deconstruct his life at the farm where Flick was buried close to her parents.

Fans of Home and Away were taken aback when Cash announced his engagement to Eden, his new fiancée, with an emotional, heavily tattooed, sadboi intensity that would have had any 2007 MySpace girly go hot.

Like, during the past two weeks, haven’t we all endured enough? And now we have to put up with Cash acting like it makes sense to save Eden because “everyone I love dies”?

Though many have questioned why Eden doesn’t have a job and can never move past her father’s long-ago affair, Eden hasn’t always been a fan favorite. Fans of Home and Away, however, are now feeling quite sorry for her because she recently lost both her lover and best friend.

“Poor Eden she didn’t deserve that, I get that Cash is hurting big time but Eden also lost her best friend,” a user commented. “I hope Cash and Eden work it out and get back together.”

“I shed a lot of tears! And Cash did what next? I’m in shock,” said a second person. “He is speaking out of sorrow. He lost his sibling in addition to his parents. He ended his relationship with Eden by telling her that he didn’t want to bury her either. Another admirer clarified, “He doesn’t think he can ever have a happy ending.”

One fan disclosed a spoiler they had read someplace, which would significantly change the course of events in Summer Bay, while fans debated Cash’s decision.

“I’ve read a spoiler theory that Cash meets the girl who was given Felicity’s heart and becomes obsessed with her,” they stated. “Guess we’ll have to wait and see whether he and Eden get back together.”

Concerned admirer asked, “Do you mean obsessed with her as a sister figure, like having Flick back?” but received no response.

Please, God, please, don’t let Cash fall in love with a woman who has the same heart as his sister in Home and Away. Please, I beg you, please.
