Fans of Home and Away are ecstatic to hear that Irene Roberts, a favorite character, will soon return to our TV screens. Actress Lynne McGranger left the show to embark on a tour in the comedy-musical The Grandparents Club, so fans are finally happy about this.
The actor playing John Palmer on Home and Away, Shane Withington, excitedly shared a photo of himself with actresses Lynne and Ada Nicodemou on social media, revealing that the three of them would be working together this week. His caption for the photo said, “Working with these two and can not wait!!” “I’m excited to see you guys once more! Too much time has passed! “Hope I remember what to do,” responded with a joke from Lynne.
Irene will not appear on our screens again until 2025, despite the fact that she is starting filming again this week. She was taken to treatment after experiencing a relapse in her alcohol addiction.
Although they are thrilled to see Lynne again, fans are really itching for Irene and John to finally tie the knot. They are even more excited about Irene finding a happy ending that isn’t at the bottom of a whiskey bottle.
It’s about time they just get together because, as viewers of the show will attest, the two have more sexual tension between them than Cash has ever had with any woman he’s ever dated. Given that John once dated Marilyn, one of Irene’s closest friends, this is obviously a little awkward, but sharing is caring, I guess.
