Dana Matheson’s dramatic sequences in Home and Away, where she betrays Summer Bay newbie Bronte, have been revealed.
In the Australian-paced episodes airing next week, Dana discovers that Bronte is deceiving Irene Roberts, which puts her in grave peril.
Bronte met Irene by coincidence in the city and traveled to the Bay earlier this week.
Irene was quite sick and had no one else to turn to, so she kindly stated that Bronte would be living at her apartment for a time.
Subsequently, Bronte stated that she had test results showing her sickness is terminal and that her only opportunity to treat it is through expensive experimental treatment.
Irene was gushing over her new acquaintance, but watchers watched Bronte call an unidentified number in secret, indicating that she was con artists and considered Irene to be a “pushover.”
The most recent trailer for Home and Away currently depicts this plot taking a troubling turn as Irene and Leah Patterson band together to provide Bronte with financial help.
When the buddies tell Bronte that they are going to give her $50,000, she is thrilled at how naive they both are.
However, Dana confronts Bronte and accuses her of lying about being ill, proving that not everyone is easily duped.
Bronte’s attitude abruptly shifts as she arrogantly demands Dana to validate her theory.
Bronte and her accomplice plan to kidnap and imprison the suspicious nurse after Dana gets too close to the truth.
Dana was abducted for the second time in the last year when she was taken prisoner by dishonest police officer DS Madden.
