Home And Away Return Confirmed For Emotional Funeral Episode

Felicity Newman’s heartbreaking funeral is scheduled for this coming weekend, and Home and Away has confirmed that her brother Cash, who is devastated, is organizing her farewell party.

Last week, Australian viewers witnessed Felicity pass out during Cash and Eden Fowler’s engagement celebration, causing a shocking collapse.

TV Week has now reported that Felicity and Cash’s foster father, Gary Morrow, will make a return to Summer Bay to honour Felicity after she sadly loses her life in upcoming scenes after suffering a brain aneurysm.

Doctor Bree Cameron informs Cash and Felicity’s ex-husband Tane Parata that it is unlikely that Felicity will regain consciousness, and the couple must decide whether to turn off her life support. Although they are initially at odds, Cash gains clarity when Bree asks if Felicity had thought about donating her organs after her death. Realizing that his sister’s life support system could save the lives of others, Cash makes the decision to turn it off.

As Felicity passes away peacefully beside her loved ones, she receives a guard of honour as she is wheeled down the hospital corridor to the operating theatre for organ donation surgery.

The character of Cash, portrayed by Nicholas Cartwright, explains later in the week that he doesn’t think his character “will ever really move on from this” and that he hasn’t quite processed everything. He also announces that only family members will be attending the sister’s funeral.

With Felicity’s friends and neighbours excluded from her funeral, they begin to find their own ways to honour Felicity’s memory. While Justin Morgan and Mackenzie Booth plan a ‘Festival of Felicity’, Tane performs a moving Māori haka.

Meanwhile, at the family ceremony, Gary returns to Summer Bay over a year after his last visit to his foster children. He and Cash carry Felicity to her final resting place, while Eden is there to support them.

How will Cash cope with the loss of his beloved sister?
