Next week, Tane will make a significant decision regarding Harper’s pregnancy on Home and Away in the UK, and Cash will inform Gary that he is leaving Summer Bay.

Following Harper’s shocking disclosure that she is 13 weeks pregnant with his child—the consequence of a one-night fling in the gym—Tane (Ethan Browne) must make some difficult choices.
When Tane was serving a suspended sentence, he had come dangerously near to losing his freedom by fighting with Perri’s (Cantona Stewart) violent father Carl (Matthew Holmes). Harper revealed the information to Tane, letting him know what was at stake.

At the end of August, viewers saw Harper find out she was pregnant; at that point, only her sister Dana (Ally Harris) and Dana’s boyfriend Xander (Luke Van Os) knew the truth.
In addition to the numerous traumas in Tane’s life—the most recent of which being the passing of his ex-wife Felicity (Jacqui Purvis)—Harper has been finding it difficult to tell him when it’s appropriate. She also harbors unrequited affections for him.

Tane and Flick’s marriage had broken down because of Tane’s insistence on having kids. Flick felt pushed into agreeing to try for a kid even though he had promised that if she didn’t change her mind about not wanting children, she would be enough for him.
Still, Flick took the medication as prescribed, buying herself some time till she could figure it out. Tane ended things right away after learning the inevitable.

Harper told Tane that she had been wanting to tell him about the news for a while after they had a private conversation in the gym. Tane then had to walk up to Salt and knock back the Ellisons (there are other real whisky brands out there).
Feeling a little worse for wear, Tane awkwardly headed to the Beach House late that evening and said he needed to ask Harper some questions.

Harper believes it would be best if they spoke when Tane is sober when we revisit the scenario the following week. After preparing some toast for Tane to help absorb the alcohol, she discovers that he has already dozed off.
The demigod is spread out on the sofa when Dana gets home from work, and Harper continues to tell that she finally informed Tane, but it was a complete failure. If Tane’s response is to become wasted, she doesn’t even know if her baby’s father will be interested in participating!

The following morning, a Tane is still shocked that Harper didn’t tell him sooner, and he gets even more shocked when she admits that she had to accept her feelings regarding the pregnancy and wonders if she thought about ending it without even notifying him.
After giving it some more thought, Tane becomes irritated to learn that Xander and Dana already know he’s expecting a child.

Later, Harper apologizes over the phone from the farmhouse, saying that Xander only learned about it because he overheard her and Dana conversing. Harper brings along a printout of the ultrasound for him to keep, hoping to make up for what she did.
Harper acknowledges that Tane is upset and says she was worried about his reaction because she wasn’t the person he had intended to have children with. She hadn’t wanted the news to be overshadowed by the recent difficult times, but things didn’t go as she had hoped.

Tane quickly returns to the Beach House and insists there’s no need, despite Harper’s request that he let her know when he’s ready to chat. He has decided what to do.
Is Tane prepared to take on the role of father?
In Summer Bay, just after her best friend Flick’s burial, Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) is tending to her wounded heart due to her fiancé Cash’s (Nicholas Cartwright) breakup.

Cash informed Eden that everyone he loves is buried there after burying his sister next to his parents. As a result, he was ending their relationship for Eden’s own safety. Eden tried to talk Cash out of his stupidity, but he ignored her and urged her to go back to the bay by herself.
After breaking the news of Cash’s breakup to a shocked Remi (Adam Rowland) and Bree (Juliet Godwin), a broken Eden made her way back to the share house.

The following week, Remi tries his best to reassure Eden that Cash is just too distraught to be rational and will soon come to his senses, but Eden is unconvinced.
John (Shane Withington) is taken aback to discover that Cash has already returned with his car, but Bree explains that Cash has chosen to spend more time with Gary (Peter Phelps) now that Eden has returned.
John awkwardly inserts himself by stating that Bree told him about Cash while Eden goes to the beach for some alone time. When Eden tells him that Bree should mind his own business and that he had no right to do that, he is shocked.

Once Remi corrects Eden about what she truly said to John, Eden apologizes. Eden then goes home and chastises Bree for spreading rumors about her.
Gary and Cash go back to their house across the street. Gary flatly refuses when Cash asks him to go get his car keys from Eden, saying he should have the guts to break up with her in person if he made the decision to do so.

Gary is hoping that Cash will at least talk to Eden, but when he gets to No. 55, he asks for his keys in a brusque and icy manner, leaving Eden feeling disappointed. Cash grabs them and leaves the room as a distraught Eden passes them to him.
Bree points out to Eden that Cash has a tendency to make snap decisions when he’s furious, but given his demeanor, Eden can’t help but wonder if one of those snap decisions was to ask her to marry him in the first place. Perhaps he never intended to wed her after all?

Gary has had enough of Remi trying, and failing, to convince Cash to communicate to Eden in an appropriate manner; if Cash refuses to see what’s in front of him, he will have to take matters into his own hands.
Gary walks over to Eden and offers her some kind words of support and apologizes for how Cash has treated her.
He warns her, “Don’t make it easy for him.” “Fight for Cash if that’s who you want.”

Eden approaches Cash and tells him he doesn’t have to push her away, with Gary standing by her side. Asking Gary why Eden is here, Cash finds it difficult to look her in the eye.
Gary adamantly tells his foster kid, “Eden deserves a conversation,” but it is in vain as Cash advises Eden to move on and goes to his bed.
Cash says later that evening that he is returning to the farm permanently and packs his bags!
