On Home and Away (1:45pm – check our TV Guide for listings), Nicholas Cartwright’s character, Senior Constable Cash Newman, is back on the beat for his first day at the Mangrove River Police Station.
Constable Joanna Devlin (Ariadne Sgouros), Cash’s new coworker, alerts him to the fact that the River Boys gang keeps the police force busy in the community.
And before long, Cash receives a formal “welcome” when he finds out the gang has vandalized his car!
But when Cash finds out that Rory Templeton (Joshua Orpin), his sister Felicity’s (Jacqui Purvis) new lover, is the gang boss, he is in for another unpleasant surprise!
Will Felicity alter her mind about the attractive bad lad when Cash tells her later about Rory’s true identity?
After being abducted by con artist Bronte Langford and her accomplice Chase, Dana Matheson (Ally Harris) is back home safely.
Even though her lover Xander Delaney (Luke Van Os) came to her rescue at the last minute, Dana is incensed because he first disregarded her assertions regarding Bronte.
Harper, Dana’s sister (Jessica Redmayne), believes it’s time to give her younger sister some harsh love.
In the meantime, after being taken advantage of by the “terminally-ill” Bronte, Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) feels demoralized and ashamed.
After assisting Senior Sergeant Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) in bringing charges against Bronte, Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) attempts to brighten Irene’s spirits.
But is Irene about to go down a dark path because of her self-loathing?
