Home and Away spoilers: Will Irene go back on the BOOZE?

After being duped by con artist Bronte Langford, Irene Roberts (played by Lynne McGranger) on Home and Away (1:45pm; check our TV Guide for listings) seems to have reached her lowest point.

Despite the fact that Bronte has since been taken into custody and is being prosecuted, Irene is left feeling devastated and ashamed of the “terminally-ill” Bronte.

In the current episode of the Australian soap opera, Irene’s return home—accompanied by a bottle of whisky—takes an unsettling turn.

In the meantime, Dana Matheson (Ally Harris), Irene’s beach house lodger, is also coping with the fallout from Bronte’s brutal con.

Dana is still upset because Xander Delaney, her lover (played by Luke Van Os), disregarded her concerns that Bronte was up to no good.

Xander didn’t realize the horrible reality until Dana was abducted by Bronte and her criminal partner Chase!

Dana’s closest friends and family make an effort to persuade her to give Xander another chance.

But does Dana think she will be happy in the future with a man she can’t fully trust?

When Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) finds out she’s dating a River Boy, she’s astonished!

Felicity’s brother Cash, a police officer (Nicholas Cartwright), is of the opinion that she shouldn’t be hanging out with Rory Templeton, a member of the gang (Joshua Orpin).

Does Felicity share this sentiment, though?

Rory makes an effort to win Felicity over by describing how the notorious River Boy gang once saved his life.

When Felicity hears Rory’s sob tale, will she feel some pity for him?

Or will Cash’s wish come true and his sister get rid of the troublemaking bad boy?
