On Wednesday, September 4, the former Australian soap star’s body was discovered at his opulent Sydney apartment. Prior to giving up acting to pursue a career in public relations, where he collaborated with Married At First Sight cast members, he had an appearance on Home and Away in the 1990s.

Following Jai’s passing, a coroner’s report will be released, according to local police. According to OK!, the cause and date of the death are yet unknown.

A month ago, he was last sighted in public at an event hosted by reality stars. Jai’s friends have shared their sadness at his passing on social media.

Daniel Wootton, a fitness trainer, wrote: “Jai Evans passed away. An additional lovely companion snatched far too soon before his time. Your vivacious enthusiasm and willingness to assist were exceptional. Jai, go to sleep. I cherish you, buddy.”

On Instagram, a different pal posted: “OMG so sad, Jai was such a great person! I send my sympathies to his friends and family.” Another wrote: “RIP Jai, what a sad story. I hope you, friend, get some peace. Far too young.

“Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner regarding the death of a 43-year-old man at a unit in Darlinghurst on September 4, 2024,” the Sydney police acknowledged his departure. The police will not be commenting on the situation going forward.”

In 1997, Jai portrayed a student on Home and Away. Later, she worked as a public relations specialist, assisting Married At First Sight cast members as they navigated popularity following their appearance on the reality show. At the young age of 24, he launched Evans Media, his company, in 2005.

He has managed events and provided PR tactics for celebrities and media companies over the past 20 years. The public relations specialist gave guidance to MAFs stars who wanted to become more well-known after becoming famous on the show in April of this year.
