Home and Away’s James Stewart praises new co-star in Justin story

In a new plot centered on his character Justin Morgan, Home and Away star James Stewart has given his co-star Rachael Carpani high praise.

Carpani, who starred in McLeod’s Daughters, plays Claudia, a newbie to Summer Bay. After she is in a car accident, her evil persona will start a feud with Justin.

Claudia holds the mechanic accountable for improperly fixing her car, which was serviced just before the collision. Theo Poulos really started the car’s repair but left it unfinished.

Stewart claimed that he and Ada Nicodemou, who plays Justin’s wife Leah Patterson, had a terrific experience working with Carpani, despite Claudia’s dubious motivations giving Justin a hard time.

In an interview with The Press, Stewart praised the celebrity for her “gorgeous energy on set” and stated, “She has done such big work and it’s really kudos to the casting agents here, because they get us these guests that just make you lift your game.”

He went on: “Ada and I loved working with her, they were really great together.”

Carpani made fun of Claudia’s character by implying that she might be planning more sinister plans and that she would rock the Bay.

“When I heard what Claudia gets up to, I thought, ‘Oh, it might be nice to be disliked as a character for a while,'” she stated to TV Week. “I’m a little worried about the hardcore fans, though.”
