Next week, Levi Fowler from Home and Away will be seen in the UK racing to his younger sister Abigail’s aid.
When Levi learns that Abigail is in danger due to her drug dealer, he is appalled.
In this week’s Channel 5 programs, Levi becomes worried upon learning that Abigail is a drug user.
This clarifies why Abigail has been helping herself to Levi’s bank account and why she has been stealing money from the Surf Club, but she ignores Levi’s insistence that she break this risky behavior.
Next week, in extended scenes, Levi confides in Mackenzie Booth, his girlfriend, about how he gave in to Abigail’s demands by giving her money so she could get drugs.
In an attempt to defend his conduct, Levi says that if he hadn’t assisted Abigail, she would have turned to even more extreme means to obtain drugs.
Mackenzie rejects this school of thought, pointing out that until Levi addresses the issue head-on, Abigail will continue down a very troubled path.
Abigail visits Dom, her dealer, at his house in the interim. Dom stops her attempt to flee by pointing out that she lacks the funds to reimburse him for what she has borrowed.
Dom is certain that Abigail must have an extramarital affair with one of his clients in order to pay back her debt. When Abigail declines, Dom becomes threatening and stops her from leaving.
While Dom waits for the client to arrive, Abigail is by herself in one of the house’s rooms. She contacts Levi and provides him with the address, indicating that she is in a perilous situation.
Before departing, Levi tells his other sister Eden, and she is determined to accompany him on the desperate rescue effort.
After determining the accurate address, Levi breaks down the door and discovers Abigail inside. He’s relieved to find he’s arrived in time, since Abigail is hurt but not terribly traumatized.
Levi approaches Dom and restrains him, while Eden carries Abigail to safety.
Later, after the three siblings check into a motel together, Abigail vows to give up drugs completely and for good.
Although they know she has a difficult road ahead of her, Levi and Eden decide to stay with her until she gets clean.
