Home and Away’s Mali Hudson to fear danger in sibling plot

Mali Hudson of Home and Away claims that in forthcoming episodes, his brother Iluka will be bringing danger to his door.

After learning that his unruly sibling has arrived in Summer Bay with an odd-looking suitcase of cash, Mali can’t help but worry about the worst.

In episodes that aired in Australia earlier this month, Dion Williams played Iluka, Mali’s older brother.

At first, Iluka insisted that he had only traveled to the city to catch up with Mali, but he subsequently acknowledged that he had been lying to get away from some unscrupulous friends back home.

Iluka got along well with Rose Delaney, Mali’s girlfriend, despite their rough beginnings, and he also felt a romantic spark with Kirby Aramoana.

Things went wrong once more in Thursday’s triple bill of episodes in Australia (June 13), as Justin Morgan’s car momentarily vanished and Mali accused Iluka of stealing.

When Justin learned that his wife Leah had taken the automobile out without notifying him, Mali realized he had misinterpreted Iluka’s accusations.

In an attempt to head off any misunderstandings, Iluka let his ego get in the way and handed Mali a bag holding eight thousand dollars. He was eager to demonstrate that he didn’t need to break any small laws in the Bay.

The next week, however, proves to be the exact contrary of Iluka’s expectation that this will put Mali behind him.

A terrified Mali questions the source of the money and questions whether it was a good idea to bring Iluka into his house given his history of violent crimes.

“You have rocked up to my house with a bag of stolen money, putting me and my housemates in danger,” Mali informs his brother the following week. How naive could you possibly become?”

He later cautions him: “If you keep going the way you’re going, you’re going to destroy your life completely.”

Will Mali get through to Iluka? Is Mali correct to fear that this would put Tane, Levi, Mackenzie, and him in danger?
