ITV Coronation Street's Kimberly Hart-Simpson Supported As She Shares Sad Family Loss

Kimberly Hart-Simpson of ITV Coronation Street received support for sharing a heartbreaking family bereavement.

With her role of sex worker Nicky Wheatley on Coronation Street, the soap star became a fan favorite. She last made an appearance in Weatherfield in 2022, although she continues to use Instagram to update her followers on her life outside of the screen.

As she paid respects to her cousin, she shared some depressing news on social media. “We lost Auntie Pat in the very early hours of Wednesday following her ongoing battle with cancer,” the statement read.

We have lost a valuable family member, and it has been quite upsetting. Even though she knew her time was running out, she made it possible for us all to laugh during difficult times, conducted conversations in which nothing was left unsaid, and even threw in a few show tunes.

“There is immense comfort in knowing that she is with her husband Uncle David, her cherished dog, and my Dad—her brother, who she was with during his birth and last breaths.

“Paula, my cousin, who is going to read this. You constantly take care of others; it’s time we did the same for you. I adore and respect you, the family glue.

“Over the past year, cancer has claimed the lives of several members of my family. If you are going through the same loss, suffering, or struggle, know that you are not alone.

“Here’s to auntie pat – loved nowt more than a wind up and no doubt is already thinking up her first haunting prank!”
