ITV Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien ‘victim of unprovoked incident’ outside £1m home

Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien, who played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, has said an “incident” occurred outside her Manchester home.

Actress Tina O’Brien of Coronation Street reportedly saw a “unprovoked incident” close to her house. Tina, who is well-known for her role as Sarah Platt on the ITV program, was forced to report the events outside her £1 million suburban Manchester home to the police.

The Mirror was informed by a representative for the soap opera star that “Tina was the victim of an unprovoked incident outside her home which she has reported to the police.” The 40-year-old, who rose to fame on Coronation Street at the age of 16, currently resides on a peaceful street with her family.

She is wed to personal trainer Adam Crofts, and the two of them have a little child named Beau. Scarlett, a fifteen-year-old daughter of Tina and former Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas, is another child. They spent 2003–2009 as a couple.

Tina was a cast member of the soap opera from 1999 till 2008. She appeared in the well-liked BBC drama series Waterloo Road after departing.

Scarlett, her daughter, is now performing as well; she plays Izzy Charles in Waterloo Road. Adam Thomas, Scarlett’s uncle, portrays her father in the show.

In 2010, Tina made another appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, when she dazzled the audience and finished in fourth place with partner Jared Murillo.

She returned to Coronation Street in 2015 and continues to be a member of one of the most cherished families there.

Tina has called her husband Adam “my everything” since they started dating in 2014.

She said the following last year: “You’re incredible and you motivate me to be stronger, bolder, and braver. I appreciate that you guided me even though you were unaware of it.”

When they attended the Royal Television Society North West event, the celebrity also referred to her daughter Scarlett as her “bestie” on Instagram.

“So proud of Scarlett, she’s worked so hard on Waterloo Road and I’ve absolutely loved watching her portrayal of Izzy,” she wrote on a post that she made at the time to her 527,000 followers.

“Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she’s been nominated for an award #proudmum.”

Tomorrow night at 8 p.m. on ITV, Coronation Street will resume.
