Kelly Thiebaud’s Special Message To GH Fans

Some fans had hoped that the writers would find a way to bring Kelly Thiebaud back to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Britt, in addition to Steve Burton, who had returned as Jason. Unfortunately, Britt was murdered, as Jason discovered in the episode airing on March 26. Her passing is probably going to be more irreversible than Jason’s. However, Thiebaud expressed her gratitude to her fans for their support by contacting them on Twitter and X.

She wrote, “Hello everyone.” “I am aware of my absence from this site. My life is changing so rapidly. I want to thank you for your love and messages for Britt, and maybe in the near future I will find the time to explain about everything. Reading them makes me joyful and sad at the same time. Hugs and love to all of you! For good measure, she added a kissy-face emoji to the end of her post.

Thiebaud isn’t very active on Twitter or X; her most recent post was on February 23 when she lamented the passing of actor Tyler Christopher and reshared a video that a fan had posted of Nikolas proposing to Britt in 2014. She has been posting on Instagram a little more lately. She shared some pictures from her modeling days as well as the heartbreaking news that she had to say goodbye to her dog, Ranger.

Thiebaud made her daytime debut in September 2012 as Dr. Britt Westbourne. She immediately won over fans, and following her exit in 2015, she made sporadic returns in the years that followed. Britt made a more significant comeback in September 2020, winning the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2022. However, Britt chose to depart again, and in January 2023 she unfortunately passed away.

Along with her role on GH, Thiebaud guest-starred on MAGNUM P.I., appeared in episodes of STATION 19, and had a brief stint as Zoey on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The actress relocated to London in the spring of 2023 in order to be nearer to her boyfriend, PJ Harrison, and she has been getting used to life in the UK ever since.

Fans of GH are still holding out hope that Thiebaud will eventually return to Port Charles, despite her trips back to the US. Maybe Britt has a twin sister that nobody is aware of? Hey, anything can happen in a soap opera!
