Blythe Howard’s Contract Status
According to the closing credits of the latest General Hospital episode, Blythe Howard, who portrays Monet Mitchell — the younger sister of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) — is listed as a recurring cast member.
Howard made her debut on the ABC daytime drama on Wednesday, September 23, just a few weeks ago. However, her recurring status doesn’t necessarily mean that Monet will be leaving the show.
Many actors with recurring roles on General Hospital and other daytime soaps remain important parts of ongoing storylines. This status simply means Howard isn’t under a regular contract with the show and will appear whenever her character is needed for the story.
Viewers can expect to see Monet during Thursday’s episode on October 15, when she offers legal advice to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
More Casting Updates
Fans haven’t seen Ezra Boyle on screen for some time, but Daniel Cosgrove looks set to return to the storyline during Monday’s episode on October 12. According to the show’s promotional preview, Ezra will share scenes with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
