Lucy Parkinson Has Sparked Plenty of Drama on Coronation Street

Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out which resident will be the next person to take troubled Lucy Parkinson under their wing. Lucy (Anya Lewis) made her first appearance on the ITV soap earlier this year.
She arrived on the cobbles as the daughter of Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) estranged cousin, Richie (Nathan Sussex). After reconnecting for the first time in years, Richie opened up to Tim about the difficulties he was facing in his marriage to his wife, Rachel.
He explained that their relationship had hit a rough patch. However, events soon took a shocking turn when Tim visited Richie’s home and discovered him wearing a bloodstained shirt, with Rachel’s lifeless body lying on the floor.
Before long, Richie was arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife and was subsequently sent to prison. Meanwhile, Lucy moved into No.8 and became a foster child under the care of Tim and Sally (Sally Dynevor). However, she has already revealed a more sinister side, frequently manipulating the people around her.

The youngster has also been having a difficult relationship with Sally, who accidentally struck Lucy after her Halloween prank went horribly wrong, causing Sally to mistake her for an intruder. Following the incident, Lucy contacted social services, and to her surprise, she was subsequently moved into respite care.
Meanwhile, it had already been revealed that Lucy is the biological granddaughter of Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins). During Friday’s episode, October 30, Christina finally told Lucy the truth about their family connection, leaving the youngster completely stunned.

However, soap fans now believe a former favourite from the cobbles could be making a comeback to become Lucy’s new guardian. Taking to a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer commented: “Another cheery episode! That Lucy is something else.”
Another fan added: “I wonder who she’ll move in with next.” A third viewer suggested that Christina’s daughter, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), could be the one to take Lucy in, writing: “Daisy should come back and have her.”
Someone else agreed with the suggestion, replying: “That’s a good suggestion.”

Daisy made her debut on the ITV soap in 2020 as the stepdaughter of Weatherfield favourite Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) and quickly won over viewers, becoming a popular character.
Throughout her time on the show, Daisy has also been involved in several major storylines. From a devastating acid attack to shocking affairs, her journey in Weatherfield has been packed with drama.
Unfortunately, Charlotte announced her departure from the soap in January 2025. A few months later, in May, Daisy bid farewell to Weatherfield in a dramatic and explosive exit.
