Could This Fan Theory Be Right?

EastEnders viewers believe they have figured out who was truly responsible for Zoe’s tragic death.

And surprisingly, it wasn’t Max Branning!

Their theory could leave fans stunned.

Kat Slater is determined to get revenge on the mysterious man who abandoned her daughter Zoe and left her to die.

We already know that Max Branning spent time with Zoe shortly before her death. Believing she was drunk, Max left her on her own.

He is now struggling with feelings of guilt, while his ex-wife Cindy is close to telling Kat the whole truth.

However, EastEnders viewers are equally certain that Max isn’t the person Kat should be directing her anger towards!

Intriguing? We certainly think so! One theory put forward by fans is so outrageous that it could actually be brilliant!

Zoe’s Death Was Truly Heartbreaking

Viewers will remember that Zoe suffered a fall while attempting to steal back Charlie Slater’s taxi, a decision that ultimately ended in tragedy.

She hit her head during the incident, but despite her mum Kat pleading with her to get medical attention, Zoe insisted she was perfectly fine.

As the evening progressed, however, Zoe began feeling unsteady and confused. When Max discovered her in her bedroom, he assumed she had simply had too much to drink.

Of course, Max was unaware that Zoe had suffered a head injury. He also had no idea that she hadn’t consumed any alcohol.

The following day, after Kat discovered her daughter’s lifeless body, police arrived and informed the devastated mum that Zoe had made a 999 call shortly before her death.

They explained that Zoe had said, “he left me”, leaving Kat furious at the thought that someone had been with her seriously unwell daughter but had abandoned her instead of helping.

Is Max Really to Blame for Zoe’s Death?

At first glance, it seems clear that Zoe was referring to Max when she made her final phone call.

But could there be another explanation?

EastEnders fans believe someone completely unexpected might actually be responsible.

And that person is Zoe’s son, Josh!

We know it sounds far-fetched, but we’re starting to find this theory increasingly convincing.

Could Josh Have Been Responsible for Zoe’s Death?

Some EastEnders viewers have been putting forward their theories about who might have been the last person to see Zoe before she passed away.

Several fans believe her younger brother, Tommy, could have left her alone, while others suspect Alfie might have been involved.

However, the theory gaining the most attention is that Josh intentionally abandoned his newly discovered mum, leaving her to die.

It’s certainly a dark possibility, but we have to admit we’re intrigued!

Jasmine may be the more sensitive twin and the one who was held responsible for her adoptive father’s death. But what if Josh has secretly been the villain all along?

Fans Are Convinced!

Viewers believe this could be the major twist everyone has been waiting for.

“I think Josh was actually the last person to see Zoe,” one viewer suggested.

“Josh was with her and he walked out and left her, as punishment for her leaving him and Jasmine,” another fan confidently claimed.

“Well, then we have both of them killing a parent each,” another viewer pointed out, referring to Jasmine killing her biological father, Anthony Trueman.

We have to admit that the ongoing drama surrounding Zoe’s death had started to feel a little repetitive.

But this new theory has suddenly made the storyline much more intriguing!
