Nearly all contestants voted to banish the latest Celebrity Traitors victim, who also revealed a secret family connection to a fellow co-star.

Mathematician Hannah Fry’s time on Celebrity Traitors has finally come to an end after she was overwhelmingly banished from the show.
The Cambridge professor, who had been recruited as a Traitor earlier in the series, described the experience as “the wildest roller coaster I have ever been on” after receiving all but two of the votes from her fellow contestants at the round table.
The celebrities celebrated enthusiastically after catching their second Traitor of the series, giving the current cast an unprecedented 50% success rate, having banished two Faithfuls and two Traitors so far.
Emotional Fry described the experience as “intense” and later said: “I laughed more, cried more and got more excited than I ever have in the entirety of the rest of my life combined, it’s amazing.”

Her departure came after she and the other Traitors had ‘murdered’ comedian Rob Beckett in plain sight following a game of Hide & Seek.
She laughed: “Killing Rob Beckett was one of the best evenings I’ve had in my entire life. I was running through the woods in the middle of the night, opening the door to Rob Beckett’s face. It was delightful.”
However, Hannah, who had developed a special database to identify Traitors before entering the castle, admitted that she found it difficult to play the role herself.
“I really preferred being Faithful,” she said. “It’s so much more stressful being a Traitor. I really hate lying to people’s faces. I think there’s actually some pride in being a rubbish Traitor.”

Fry, 42, has now revealed that she is rooting for a fellow Traitor to make it all the way to the final.
“I think Maya will win,” she said. “Leigh-Anne needs to keep quiet about how good she is because I don’t think people have necessarily noticed, but as soon as Maya realises that Leigh-Anne is that good, she’s going to kill her.”
Fry is also supporting comedian Joanne McNally after revealing that the pair share a secret family connection.
She explained: “We actually discovered that we’re cousins, by marriage. So her cousin is married to my cousin. We’re basically sisters. I really loved her so much.”
She added that she would love to see an all-female final featuring Sharon, Miranda, Joanne, Leigh-Anne and Maya.

In last night’s episode, the celebrities took on another gruelling challenge that required them to pull heavy carts of gold through gates that would only open once they had solved a puzzle. The task became even more challenging as they were pursued by a group of hooded figures known as the Death Parade.
Joe Lycett admitted that he found the challenge unsettling, saying: “I’ve not been so unsettled since I saw Jedward in concert.”
Any celebrities who were caught were prevented from returning to the castle until the Round Table. All three Traitors ended up trapped in a cage, leaving them unable to influence the other contestants’ opinions before the vote, ultimately sealing Fry’s fate.

Suspicion had already begun to grow around increasingly paranoid Ross Kemp after he once again escaped being murdered. The EastEnders star admitted he was “angry” that “a lot of eyes are on me”.
Joanne McNally suggested that his eyes were the real issue, saying: “He has not blinked since we’ve been here — he’s giving cyborg.”
However, Fry was unable to defend herself any longer, and Miranda Hart led a celebratory run through the castle corridors after successfully identifying her as a Traitor.
Later, in the turret, the two remaining Traitors, James Acaster and Maya Jama, agreed to recruit boxer King Kenny into their group.

He agreed to join them and, despite being stunned to learn their identities, quickly settled into his new role, laughing: “The Faithfuls are doomed!”
