Surprisingly, the Latest Theory Has Nothing to Do with Amy…
EastEnders fans have been eagerly anticipating Sean Slater’s return to their screens ever since the news was first announced earlier this year.
Now, however, viewers believe they have figured out the real reason behind his comeback to the BBC soap.
Surprisingly, their latest theory has nothing to do with Amy leaving Walford with Craig next week.

Drama Unfolds at Number 31 Today
In today’s episode of EastEnders, Max views Number 31, the former Slater family home. He is determined to purchase the property and move in with Linda and the children, hoping to prove that he is the ideal family man.
However, Cindy remains determined to cause trouble and has already heard about his plans to buy the house.
She arrives during the viewing and questions Max’s financial situation in front of Suki, revealing that his money is tied up in a property in New Zealand that nobody knew about.
With the situation becoming increasingly complicated, Suki decides she wants to avoid any further drama surrounding the sale of her house, which she recently rented to Jean, Mo and Lily.
Instead, she informs Max that she will consider Ned’s offer, as it appears to come with fewer marital complications.
However, it is no secret that Ned is currently struggling financially. He is living at Nicola’s house alongside the rest of his family after they were forced to leave their former home outside Walford.
Although he recently received some money, he used it to purchase half of Harry’s Barn. This raises an important question: where will he find the funds to buy Number 31?
Fans believe another potential buyer could be waiting in the wings, and they suspect it could be none other than Sean Slater!
Viewers are convinced that Sean, whose return to the BBC soap is fast approaching, could secretly be planning to purchase his former family home.
With Kat and Alfie seemingly set to leave The Vic by Christmas, if the flashforward is anything to go by, could the Slater family find themselves living together under one roof again before the year ends?

EastEnders Fans Share Their Theories About Sean Slater’s Comeback
“I think Suki will sell Number 31 to Sean when he returns next week. It’s so obvious,” one fan claimed on X.
Another viewer shared their own theory, suggesting: “I think Ned will lose his half of Harry’s Barn once the truth about his involvement in Ryder’s attack comes out. Then the Hawkins family will end up buying The Vic, leaving Sean to buy Number 31 back for the Slaters.”
Meanwhile, another fan expressed their hopes of seeing the Slaters reunited in their former home. “Wouldn’t it be perfect if Sean bought Number 31 and moved in with Jean and the rest of the Slaters? Walford would be back to how it should be!”
Could the fans’ theories turn out to be correct, with the Slaters finally returning to where they belong?
