Jodie Ramsay Has Disappeared from Coronation Street, but Fans Think They Know Exactly What Happened to Her

Coronation Street fans believe they have figured out where Jodie Ramsay has gone. Jodie, played by Olivia Frances-Brown, first appeared in January during the Corriedale crossover episode.

She later arrived in Weatherfield, where she revealed that she was the long-lost half-sister of Shona Platt (Julia Goulding). Since then, Jodie has been at the centre of plenty of drama.

As well as taking several belongings from residents on the cobbles, including a gun, Jodie also attacked Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) on the night Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) was murdered.

More recently, Jodie has focused her attention on her sister Shona and her newborn daughter, Harper. Seemingly troubled, she has been playing cruel mind games with Shona.

However, events took a dramatic turn last week when Jodie’s lies were finally uncovered. This sparked a tense gun confrontation involving Jodie, David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Shona, which ended with Jodie being shot.

Jodie was immediately taken to hospital, where she survived the gunshot wound. Although David wanted his sister-in-law out of their lives, Shona was overwhelmed with guilt and decided that she still wanted to keep her younger sister in her life.

However, when Shona returned to the hospital to speak with Jodie, she discovered that her sister had disappeared. A nurse explained that Jodie had discharged herself from the hospital.

Now, fans are convinced they have worked out where Jodie has gone, and they believe an Emmerdale character could be involved. On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, one viewer commented: “Looks like Graham has taken Jodie,” referring to Emmerdale character Graham Foster, played by Andrew Scarborough.

Fans will remember that Jodie and Graham first appeared together during the Corriedale crossover, when Jodie was tied up in the back of Graham’s van. It was later revealed that a dangerous gang had hired Graham to get rid of Jodie.

As fans speculated about the possibility of another crossover, other viewers agreed with the theory. One person commented: “I’m sure Graham has come got her in his van!”

Another fan wrote: “I hope so!!!!!! And don’t bring her back.” Meanwhile, a third viewer simply said: “That would be good.”
